Ethel M. Chocolate Factory

Henderson, NV

When Forrest Mars Sr. (of Mars Candy empire fame) retired to Henderson, Nevada in 1980 he created Ethel M. Chocolates to get away from boredom. The factory is named after his mother Ethel, who made chocolates by hand in her own kitchen. This is the only Ethel M. factory in the world.

Officially designated as "Ethel M. Chocolate Factory and Cactus Garden" the location features a chocolate factory, a store open to the public and a cactus garden with over 300 varieties of cacti.
